Hello All I recently came across this and I thought it would be a good idea. It's a website that can make a binder like recipe book. You can insert your own recipes as well as recipes over 25,000 original recipes from over 25,000 original recipes from Bon Appétit, Gourmet, Epicurious.com and world-renowned chefs. I thought this would be a good way to take all those great recipes we have enjoy over the years and put them in a place were everyone can enjoy for future generations. If you have a recipe that you would like to add please email me it and I will gladly add it. Click on the recipe book to the left to see what we have so far.


	It all began around the summer of 1915 with the marriage of Maria and Joseph. Our family tree sprouted its first branches with the births of Caroline, Margaret, Thomas, Steve, Louis and then Rose.
In celebration of our contursi family we have planned a family reunion. It will be held on Saturday October 21, 2006, with a Family Mass at Mt. Carmel Church at 2:00 pm and Dinner at Cappucinos at 5:30pm for more info contact: Me, Annie Otten or Joe Contursi.

he Contursi Family is only three generations Italian-American. My grandfather Thomas Louis Contursi was born in March 19, 1920 in Poughkeepsie. He was son of Maria Paolino Contursi and Guiseppe Contursi who came to America from Foggia, Italy. My Grandmother Mary Coluccio Contursi, was also born in Poughkeppsie to parents Frank and Coletta Coluccio. They came to America in 1910 and 1919 from Bari, Italy.

My Grandparents were married on December 2, 1945. They had two children Joseph Anthony and Thomas Louis Junior. Joseph resides in Hyde Park, New York, while brother Thomas lives in Poughkeepsie, New York. My father Joseph meet Geraldine Bechard from Harriman N.Y. and were married at Mt. Carmel Church on March 16th 1970. I was born on September 17, 1973 and three years later my sister Amy Mary was born on November 24, 1976. I now reside in Florida, N.Y. with my wife Christine Marie Ahrens Contursi, from Florida, N.Y. We were married on May 15, 1999 in Warwick, NY. I was the youngest male Contursi until to February 9, 2006 when my son, Aiden Joseph Contursi was born.
