This five panel installation of the
band , was first envisioned as a single panel project for a
Figure Drawing Class, while at the State University of New York
at Oswego. It was for an assignment to draw a picture of someone
that was recognizable and who also influenced you in some way.
So, originally I just did Bono. Yet, on completion of Bono I
decided I wanted to take it further by drawing the entire band.
Then upon completion of the other band members, I realized that
each piece didn't gel into one cohesive piece, but four individual
piece that stood on there own. It was then that I realized I
had to bring the pieces together and that's when I came up with
the center panel with the U2 logo and background incorporating
the album titles up to 1992. |

The Edge and Bono panels were
part of a Gallery Show for the Tyler Art Gallery (Oswego, New
York) in 1996. They were then put into storage until just recently
where they are displayed (as seen below) at my town house
basement. |
